The Neo Nano Aquarium by Deep Sea Aquatics really stood out at IMAC West. First of all, it had a breeder surface area of 24.5" x 24.5" x 14". It was designed to look down into - open top style. It has two overflows and a unique return that cascades back into the aquarium without distorting the view too much. The return flows through pinholes under the waterline as well adding more circulation. It has a large sump that fills the stand for more water volume and a large skimmer, refugium, etc. From this reefer's point of view, this was a very well thought out reef aquarium.

Tank:

* 24.5" x 24.5" x 14"
* Dual 3" x 3" overflow boxes
* 2 1" bulkhead drains
* “Cascade" return system

Stand

* 25" x 25" x 32"

Sump

* 18.5" x 18.5" x 18"

Our first update from IMAC West, here is a sneak-peak of CPR's impressive AZ-Tec skimmer. Check out the pyramid design! This skimmer is still in development. CPR has told me that they are still experimenting with various pumps but it should be out by the end of the year. Check out the size of the CPR Az-Tec skimmer and the bubble density with the pinwheel. It is sure to churn. 8)

AquaIllumination will soon be bringing the first LiFi by Luxim based solid-state plasma lighting system. :eek: 8)

'The outlook of this technology is promising, however at this time pricing, features and availability are unknown due to the products early stage of development. From our initial testing we have found this single emitter appears to produce equivalent output as metal halide systems with the longevity of LED based systems. The light easily lends its self to a wide color spectrum range and intensity control.'
